Google stated that iPhone USERS were making 50 times more searches FROM their iPhones than users of other mobile devices, not --as you state--that "Web surfers [are] seeking out the iPhone 50 times more than any other mobile handset".

I'm glad you caught that one. It puts a whole different spin on the article. It shows that this is practically the only mobile that makes the internet usable (as if we didn't know already). Still good news, but not as good for possible investors. I think it bespeaks a stable investment more than an untapped future user base waiting to explode. Perhaps that's better....

Good point guys. And yes, the story is completely different when actual facts are used.
