Forum roundup: With the debut of the new iPhone just days away a poll was started in the MacNN forums to determine how many people are getting the new iPhone within the first week of its release. Earlier this week, users began discussing the new Mac OS X 10.5.4 software update, which is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security.

One new Mac owner is looking for the best torrent application and gets some assistance from our MacNN forum goers. Problems with one users iPod touch sparked a thread that now provides troubleshooting steps for what to do if your iPod touch will no longer communicate with your computer. Rumors about Diablo 3 have excited many of our forum goers and in response a thread was created to talk about this up coming game from Blizzard Entertainment. "Stock market crash ahead?" is the question asked by turtle777 in our MacNN Lounge who cites warnings from the Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclay.
