Vista. Seems like a cheap shot. I wonder if watching these ads make PC buyers want to switch. If they do, more power to Apple. The Pizza Box seems very silly and not interesting at all. I liked the Calming Teas ad which was mildly funny.

It's probably a reference to the "Mojave" campaign, Microsoft's been showing people a new OS called "Mojave" and then telling them at the end that they've really been drinking Folgers Crystals... I mean using "Windows Vista".

Well, Constable Odo, as you know; taste differs. I liked the pizza best of them all:) The funny thing (no pun intended) by these ads, is that it is PC aka Hodgman which makes them so good. And they might not actually bring people to switch by themselves, these ads, but they create a good image of Apple with their friendly kind of humour. I think that is the main point of them. Look at MS? last attempt for an ad-campaign to boost Vista; all very serious and very dull.
No matter what some people say about these ads; I am convinced that they work, no matter how:)

Apple should be careful about these cheap shots at Vista and take a look in the mirror. I've experienced multiple crashes of Mac OSX every day this week. I'm not even using it for particularly intensive things either, Front Row in particular seems to be incredibly unstable. This wouldn't be a problem but it seems to royally screw Time Machine, rendering it useless for hours until it has checked the integrity of the backups. Switching across to Vista to do some .Net developing was a breath of fresh air, to coin Apple's phrase "It just worked".

But I use Front Row every day and have never had a crash. You might want to check your logs in Console and see what the problem is. Very likely it is a program conflict from something you installed.

My Macs don't crash, period, some running Tiger and others Leopard. I can't remember the last time I had a kernal panic. Every few weeks, some application will have a major problem that can only be resolved by a restart, but the OS itself never crashes. And I do run my Macs hard, sometimes with over ten major apps open at once and sometimes with CPUs pegged at 100% for hours or days on end. So "multiple crashes of Mac OSX every day this week" sounds like serious user error.

While I am sure that Vista does run ... on the right computer with enough memory, etc, etc. Microsoft spending $300 to 500 MILLION dollars to convince people that --- it really does work, speaks volumes.

You do not have to convince people when something works well. Just look at the iPhone. People are still standing in line, every day. And yes people are standing in line with Vista, to trade it for XP....... :-) Sorry, could not resist. LOL

It does seem funny to me that these MS trolls that troll the web making these kind of MS rules comments never seem to realize that to someone who actually uses a Mac, their comments seem ... er.... stupid.

Maybe they are just trying to keep other MS users from switching...... kind of like the latest Apple "get a mac" commercials..... FUnny Huh??
