Briefly: Acase, WaterField announce iDevice cases

Acase announced today a new genuine leather wallet designed for the iPhone 5. The Collagio features a grab-and-go design that allows users to carry the iPhone 5 along with up to three cards and cash. It features a soft, durable leather body with a scratch-resistant finish. It also implements a slip-free fit with slightly elevated sides and a design that allows access to all of the iPhone 5's ports, lenses, and controls. The Collagio is available for $35 at Amazon.



WaterField brings CitySlicker for iPad mini, iPad 4 WaterField Designs announced today the availability of its new CitySlicker cases for the iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad. The new pair of custom-fitted sleeves combines ballistic nylon with a distressed leather flap that snaps shut. The CitySlicker line implements three layers of protection, with an impact-resistant plastic layer, a layer of high-grade neoprene, and a padded liner. The flap covers accessory pockets, allowing for safe storage of earphones and other add-ons. The CitySlicker for iPad is available with five leather flap color options: black, chocolate, grizzly, nublock, and peruvian. The CitySlicker for iPad mini retails for $89, while the CitySlicker for the fourth-generation iPad sells for $99. Interested customers can preorder the covers at WaterField Designs, and they are expected to ship on November 28.
