Forum roundup: Free iTunes App of the Week and more
Friday, November 16, 2012 @ 2:32pm

MacNN readers get a weekly free app update from the Free iTunes App of the Week thread, which links users to Apple's giveaway app in the App Store. This week in the MacNN forums, a Professional Poster linked to the current freebie, the game Lost Winds 2. Yesterday, Dedicated MacNNer "warra" reported that his login screen hangs briefly before he is able to log in, and wondered if anyone else has experienced similar problems.

Also yesterday, when one Forum Regular noticed that the search engine in Safari had changed to Yahoo after the most recent update, they turned to the forums to see if this had happened to others. One confused Forum Regular is wondering why they are now getting a warning saying "no associated message" when trying to open links from e-mails, but a solution has yet to be found. Professional Poster "Salty" was wondering how long it will be before somebody figures out a way to make Apple's new Fusion drives available in older Macs, join in here to discuss.
