Soundmatters prepares foxL Duet, FoxL Dash 7 for sale in Q1
Thursday, January 3, 2013 @ 6:05am

Soundmatters has unveiled two speaker systems it is shipping in the near future, both of which focus on the mobile device market. The foxL Duet combines a subwoofer and a pocketable speaker into a single package, while the foxL Dash 7 is a portable Bluetooth soundbar with a low profile that can also be used as a speakerphone.

The foxL Duet combines the recently released foxLv2 aptX portable speakerphone, complete with its wired and Bluetooth connectivity and BassBattery technology, with the foxLO subwoofer, which uses a linear magnetic drive woofer with a proprietary dual passive radiator system and 30-watt amplifier. At 40-percent smaller than the foxLv2, the foxL Dash 7 is a seven-ounce, 3/4-inch height soundbar. Offering Bluetooth connectivity, the Dash 7 also has the BassBattery system, and an angled stand for direct on-axis high-resolution music for tablet users. Though not included, the Dash 7 will also connect to the foxLO subwoofer, and also comes with a high-power USB charger kit, claimed powerful enough to charge a tablet. The Dash 7 will be out in the US for $250 in late January with red and white color options, with black and silver options to be made available in February. The foxL Duet will go on sale in February for $350.
