Braven expands Bluetooth speaker line with three new models
Tuesday, January 8, 2013 @ 7:46pm

Braven has taken the wraps off of three models of Bluetooth speaker. Newly joining the family, the 850 is similar to the brand’s Six Series device, but is four times larger -- allowing for deeper bass and bigger sound. The BRV-1 is suited for outdoor adventures with its compact, waterproof, shock-resistant design weighing in at less than 400 grams (0.88 lbs). The Braven 570 delivers the same quality audio as its predecessors with a stylish, impact-resistant exterior and a lower price point.

At nearly four times the size of the flagship Six Series, Braven's 850 pumps out deep sound from a speaker less than a foot long. Like its smaller brothers, the 850 provides emergency mobile device charging, long play time and an integrated speakerphone in an aircraft-grade aluminum housing. In addition to premium sound, the Braven 850 also charges iPads, tablets, and other 2.1A devices. Additionally, the device offers wireless pairing between two 850 speakers for left and right stereo. It will be available at a retail price of $300. Braven gives action sports and outdoor enthusiasts 12 hours of music they can bring into the outdoors safely with the BRV-1. The palm-sized unit boasts an IPX5 certified water resistant, shock absorbent, lightweight, and compact design. The Braven BRV-1 will be available in February 2013 at $170 MSRP. The new 570 gives consumers the same audio fidelity of the Braven Six Series at a lower price point. With reduced packaging, 10-hour play time and an impact-resistant polymer case, the Braven 570 still provides Braven's patent-pending mobile device charging ability. The Braven 570 will be available immediately in black and white at $120 MSRP. Multiple colors will be available this month.
