Briefly: Wargame comes to Mac, Just Mobile outs new stands

Wargame European Escalation, a real-time strategy war game, is now officially available for the Mac. Set between 1975 and 1985, the game pits NATO forces against the Warsaw Pact in battles that explore the possibilities of events that could have transpired if open conflict began. The Mac version of the game ships with all of the PC DLC, including the Commander, Conquest, Fatal Error, and new Battlefields expansions. The game is available as a $35 purchase and requires players to have an active Steam account.



Just Mobile stands for iPad/iPad mini Just Mobile has launched two new stands, Encore and Slide, designed to hold the iPad and iPad mini. Encore features a solid aluminum base ring and hinged arm that allows the stand to be set to various viewing angles. Meanwhile, the Slide is portable stand that is built from a single piece of aluminum. A rubber cylinder is used to prop the device at any angle, and the cylinder can be easily stored within the stands tubular support. Both stands are available for purchase online at a cost of $60 and $40 respectively.
