Briefly: Carbon Scatter 2 trial, onOne Standard Editions

E-on software has released a free trial version of its Carbon Scatter 2 software for 3ds max, Maya and Cinema 4D. The trial version offers access to all of the of the software's main features, but ships with a limited collection of Csveg plants and polygonal meshes. The trial is also limited to rendering up to a total of 10000 instances, and options for saving scene and network rendering have been disabled. The download is roughly 330MB in size and includes both 32 and 64-bit versions of the software.



onOne outs Standard Editions for four of its imaging productsPerfect B&W, Perfect Effects 4, Perfect Portrait 2, and Perfect Mask 5.2 have been released by onOne software. Designed to help photographers of all levels these standard editions word as standalone apps that can be used without the need for any additional imaging software. Each of the Standard Editions is available online for $30, which includes complimentary email and online technical support and 90 days of live phone technical support.
