Apple gear to go on sale at US Staples stores, execs say

US Staples stores will soon start selling Apple products, according to Twitter posts by several executives. While an initial post by Regis Mulot -- the company's senior VP of global human resources -- has been deleted, similar posts by other people in the company are still intact. These include tweets by strategic accounts coordinator Erin LaFlamme, and field services manager Mike Goggin.



Staples already sells Apple gear in Canada. What the company's US selection might look like hasn't been mentioned; the Canadian stores, however, sell products like MacBooks, iPads, and iPods, as well as accessories. Notably absent is the iPhone, which can be bought from Apple, carriers, and some other retailers in the country.
