NetShade for iOS hits 2.0, gains VPN functions
Wednesday, March 27, 2013 @ 3:51pm

Rayner Software has released v2.0 upgrades of its NetShade iPhone and iPad apps. Both now support VPN access, operating through the same nine servers NetShade uses for proxies. The apps come with a free 10-day subscription; after that the combined proxy/VPN tier costs $70 for a full year. Proxy-only access is $27 per year.

Other improvements are minor. These include some performance optimizations, and a streamlined subscription interface. Both apps require iOS 5.1 or later.
