Showtime Anytime gets support for Comcast XFINITY
Thursday, April 11, 2013 @ 4:05pm

Showtime has released v1.4 of Anytime, its video-on-demand app for iOS. The new version opens up access to Comcast XFINITY subscribers. Previously, only AT&T U-verse, DIRECTV, Optimum, and Verizon FiOS were supported.

The app now also finally includes support for the iPhone 5, and has gained some video playback optimizations for iOS 6. Playback controls have been given more precise tap targets, and various performance and stability issues have been fixed. The app is a free download for devices running iOS 4.3 or later.
