Briefly: Mariner celebrates 23 years, Delicious Library 3 released
Thursday, April 25, 2013 @ 11:49am

In celebration of its 23rd anniversary, Mariner software is currently offering a 50 percent discount on all non-upgrade, desktop products. The promotion will run through April 30 and can be activated by using the coupon "MARINER23" at checkout. Additionally, the company is running an iPad mini giveaway that can be entered by filling out an online registration form and sharing a post on either Facebook or Twitter.

Delicious Library 3 intros new interface, iOS companion app Delicious Monster has launched an all new version of its Delicious Library cataloging software for OS X. The most obvious change in this release is the updated interface, which takes advantage of Mountain Lion's SceneKit feature allowing the entire design to be rendered in 3D. A new companion iOS app has also been introduced and can be paired with the desktop software and used as a mobile barcode scanner. Items scanned with the iOS app are stored on the device until connecting to the same network as the user's Mac computer. Once the computer is recognized all data is automatically synced to the original library. Delicious Library 3 can be purchased from the Mac App Store for $25, while the companion iOS app is a free download through iTunes.
