Briefly: Mailbox for iPad, iOS Rhapsody

Mailbox (free), an alternative GMail client for iOS, has released a new version that fixes a few bugs and is also now optimized for iPad as well as the iPhone. The app offers features not found on the default iOS mail client, such as gestures to prioritize incoming mail and the ability to reschedule a message to reappear later.



The development team, now supported by Dropbox, is also working on a desktop and Android version of the program but says those options are on a "longer-term roadmap." The team are also considering adding support for other IMAP-based email services such as iCloud. Rhapsody iPhone app gets redesign, adds full-screen player Subscription streaming and download music service Rhapsody (free) has redesigned its existing Rhapsody iPhone app to version 3.4, offering a new visually rich home screen, personalized organization, upgraded album and artist pages, a full-screen player and pop-up menus for things like easily adding tracks to a queue or favorite, among other functions.
