Best Buy to start month-long $50 discount on iPhones on Sunday
Friday, May 24, 2013 @ 3:57pm

The US branch of Best Buy is planning to launch a $50 discount on iPhones starting on Sunday, says AllThingsD. The sale should last for four weeks, and cover the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5. All phones must, however, be tied to a new two-year contract with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, ruling out carriers like T-Mobile.

Best Buy is also running some shorter-term discounts on other devices. Between May 26th and June 1st, the Samsung Galaxy S III will be $49 ($50 off) on AT&T or Sprint. During the same timeframe, the HTC Droid DNA for Verizon will also be $49 ($150 off), and the HTC One X for AT&T will be free (normally $100).
