Mac and iPad NoteSuite organizational assistant released

| Theory.io today introduced NoteSuite for iPad and NoteSuite for Mac OS X, integrated suites of note-taking tools that help users organize everything in one app. NoteSuite for iPad allows users to take notes, manage to-dos, clip web pages, annotate almost anything, and read and search PDFs, MS Office files, and web clips together in one app. NoteSuite for Mac automatically syncs with NoteSuite for iPad and combines note-taking, to-do management, web clipping, and document organization.
NoteSuite stores users’ data safely on an iPad or Mac, employing popular cloud services only for syncing and backup. Local storage ensures users never pay extra to access notes offline, data will not vanish if a web service gets cancelled, access to notes will not be jeopardized by security concerns or lost Internet connections, and data can never get "held hostage for higher fees," says the company.
NoteSuite builds on its predecessor, Projectbook, with the ability to capture anything -- with the iPad version allowing users to draw and handwrite on note pages. Web pages can be clipped into the app, to-do lists can be managed in either the Mac or iOS app, and PDFs can be annotated in the iPad version. An advanced search function allows Microsoft Office, ODF, notes, web clips, and to-do files to be easily located and sorted. Tapping one button allows users to sync data automatically via iCloud from that point forward, without creating a new account or remembering more passwords.
Normally priced at $5, NoteSuite for iPad is available at a special introductory price of $2 through July 15, 2013 and is a free upgrade for Projectbook users. Normally priced at $10, NoteSuite for Mac is available at a special introductory price of $5 through July 15, 2013.
