Some Apple Stores to sell American flag iPhone cases for July 4th
Friday, June 28, 2013 @ 2:42pm

A "select" group of US Apple Stores will be getting American flag-themed iPhone cases "starting next week," according to an internal memo. Specific stores haven't been identified, and the cases aren't described beyond their having "superior quality polycarbonate with ultra high resolution designs." Likewise, prices and compatibility haven't been mentioned.

It's unclear if the cases will be Apple-branded. That may be unlikely however, as the company hasn't produced its own iPhone cases since the bumpers it sold for the iPhone 4. Currently the only official Apple cases are produced for the iPad.
