iPhone 5s/5c unboxing images begin surfacing
Tuesday, September 17, 2013 @ 2:47pm

Ahead of Friday's iPhone launch, two separate sources have shared unboxing photos for both the iPhone 5s and 5c. Assuming the posts are legitimate, the images provide the first look into the packaging and included accessories for both handsets.

HDblog.it, a tech website based in Italy, has posted unboxing photos of both devices its source as an employee at China Unicom. The iPhone 5s box is shown from various angles in one set of images, while another shows the varying colors of the iPhone 5c in plastic shells that closely resemble the previously leaked packaging. Along with the images HDblog.it has also posted an unboxing video for the blue iPhone 5c showing the package contents, which includes EarPods headphones, a Lightning cable, a USB wall charger, and a micro-USB to Lightning connector. The latter of which Apple hasn't included with a device before, however it is unknown if the adapter will be included globally or only in specific markets. Meanwhile, a post on a Chinese forum appears to provide a closer look at the gold colored iPhone 5s. Along with showing the gold iPhone from various angles, the images also show the contents of the package mirror what is included with the iPhone 5c. The iPhone 5s will begin selling this Friday at 12:01AM Pacific through the Apple online store, while pre-orders for the iPhone 5c are already underway.
