Briefly: Hulu deal with BBC, New Trent PowePak Xtreme launches

Hulu has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide to bring 2,000 episodes from 144 different BBC shows. The multi-year deal will bring titles such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Luther to the streaming service, with hundreds being made available this week. The Wall Street Journal reports that this is not an exclusive deal, due to similar arrangements with Netflix and Amazon.



New Trent launches ruggedized PowerPak Xtreme battery New Trent has updated its PowerPak range with a new rugged model for use in camping and off-road travel. The PowerPak Xtreme is a drop-proof and water resistant unit capable of providing power to two devices simultaneously through dual USB ports from its 12,000mAh battery. New Trent is shipping the PowerPak Xtreme for $60.
