Pure ships Contour i1 Air AirPlay 30-pin and Lightning charging dock

Audio hardware vendor Pure has unveiled the Contour i1 Air, a music system featuring Apple's wireless streaming technology AirPlay. The device offers wireless audio streaming from iOS devices or iTunes on Macs and PCs. Additionally, the device has a revolving dock with clip-in adapter that accommodates iPod, iPhone, and iPad models with either a 30-pin or Lightning connector.



The new dock features Ethernet or Wi-Fi streaming setup, the previously-noted support for both 30-pin and Lightning charging, input for other audio devices, a magentic-mounted remote control, and 2x10W of RMS power from two full-range, three-inch speaker drives. The Contour i1 Air is available now, and retails for $199.
