Mackie's Master Fader app for its DL Series Digital Live Sound Mixers with iPad Control has received an update with the release of Master Fader 2.0. The Master Fader iPad app works in conjunction with a Mackie DL1608 or DL806 digital live sound mixer. Master Fader 2.0 offers input channel and aux send linking, which provide true stereo operation and a single set of controls for linked channels. Other features include an expanded Aux/FX send configuration, with a pre-DSP option, and LR mute and pan options for stereo auxes. Master Fader 2.0 has iOS 7 support, and numerous bug fixes in areas that previously caused crashing. Compatible with iOS 6 or later, Master Fader 2.0 for iPad can be downloaded for free from iTunes.

Just Mobile launches dual-function stylus, optical-mouse mousepad Just Mobile, a mobile accessories brand, has announced the global launch of its latest products, the AluPen Twist and Hoverpad. The Just Mobile AluPen Twist is a dual-function stylus for smartphone and tablet usage. One end can be twisted to reveal a rubber nib for controlled screen use, while the other can be twisted to reveal a high-quality ballpoint pen. AluPen Twist's overall body is made of aluminum and ABS construction. The HoverPad is a mouse mat coated to provide a precise surface intended for optical mouse use. Its textured finish and non-slip backing do not prevent it from being readily washable. The AluPen Twist and HoverPad are priced at $40 and $30 respectively, and can be purchased online by the end of November.
