Briefly: Titanfall Xbox 360 slips, Project Spark beta now open to all
Wednesday, March 19, 2014 @ 9:59am

Critically-acclaimed Xbox One title Titanfall's release date for the Xbox 360 is slipping again. Publisher EA today announced that the new ship date for the title is April 8 in the US and April 11 in Europe. This is the second ship date for the ostentibly-complete title in this calendar year, with the first pushing the date from March 11 to March 25 to "put the finishing touches" on the game. EA is hoping that the latest delay will make the game "even better."

Project Spark beta access queue abolished, available to all Xbox One users The open beta period for Microsoft's game creation tool Project Spark is expanding to all users. All users with an Xbox One can now download the title directly from the Xbox dashboard. In some cases, users that were already in the beta key queue may need to click the "Request Beta Key" button, then exit and relaunch the game to download the fully open beta release. The construction set was announced during Microsoft's E3 2013 press event, and was launched as a Windows open beta in December 2013. An Xbox One beta commenced earlier this month.
