Guys, this is about environmental poison, not Mac pride. Many computer parts are hazardous to people and the ecosystem if dumped into a landfill. With over six billion people in the world who want to use a cell phone or computer, we HAVE to redesign things, including the ease of toxic disposal, or there can be dire consequences.
You may call a society who is progressive about this issue, "weenies" if you wish, but it reminds me of the ship builders who whined about double-hulls before the Exxon Valdeez accident. -Christopher Johnson Comment posted by:
