The Apple Menu contains a host of updated utilies. Apple System Profiler 2.0 makes its non-iMac debut while the new and improved Find application is one of the major features of Mac OS 8.5. The Network Browser is a more elegent way of connecting to networks than through the Chooser (although the Chooser still remains for printers and the likes). Remote Access Status is part of the new Remote Access software, which can be found inside the Control Panels folder. Mac OS 8.5 adds a "bookmark" like feature with the Favorites folder, where specified items can automatically have an alias placed in that folder through the contextual menu. No new Automated Tasks are included for use with Apple Script, although the new version 2.0 of Apple Script is fully PPC native and delivers some impressive performance gains.
