If you've ever been given a phone number and wanted to know where exactly you were calling or how many hours ahead or behind you that locale was, then PC.TZ.DS is an ideal tool for you. Previously called PhoneCodes/TimeZones, PC.TZ.DS is a stand-alone DocMaker file with a list of all the area codes in the US and Canada, the time zone they're located in, the state, and the major cities in that area code. It also has a list of all the world's time zones and daylight saving time is in effect for every country that uses it.
Although the chances of using PC.TZ.DS backwards (looking for the area code of a city or town) are small since only the major locations are listed, it's a convenient and useful tool to have on hand. Not to mention that's a lot faster and easier to use than www.555-1212.com. -MS
