Entrega Technologies is one of only a handful of companies dedicated exclusively to USB. This full-time dedication apparently pays off as their 4 and 7-port USB hubs are far and away the nicest to grace our offices. Measuring roughly 4.25"x3.5"x1" the hubs are the smallest we've seen and their stylish plastics are complimented with bondi and ice translucent plastics.
The hubs feature the usual array of features found on all quality hubs including being 100% compliant with the USB standard, using an AC Adapter that provides 500 m/A of power to each port, and Auto Recovery Technology that will reset a port when a device is plugged in if the port was shut down due to excessive power consumption or another similar problem.
The Entrega hubs also feature a couple of other unique features. Their stylish cases provide both form and function, allowing for multiple hubs to be stacked securely together. The only flaw with this design is that if you stack two or more hubs the weight from all the USB devices plugged in will force your hubs to tilt slightly backward, eliminating the contact between the front rubber feet of the hub that helps it stick to a surface more securley. The hubs also feature dual-colored LEDs that will switch from red to green when a port has a device plugged into it.
Unlike the iMaccessories 4-Port Hub which can function with or without the AC Adapter (using Bus power), the Entrega hubs both require the power supply to be plugged in at all times.
With list prices of $79.99 and $129.99, and street prices coming in $30-$50 below those figures, the Entrega hubs are on par with similar products but offer the benefit of flawless performance and an attractive case. If you're in the market for a quality and attractive USB hub, look no further than Entrega's offerings.
