GrabPac

Pros: convenient portability option for the iMac, carries plenty of extras, protects during transit
Cons: none signficant

Open Grab Pac    The iMac is portable, right? It comes with a handle and only weighs 40 lbs. or so; but how do you carry the keyboard, the mouse, the USB hub, and all the other devices?

I was recently faced with the same problem when I made the move from Kentucky to the great Pacific Northwest. How was I going to take my iMac with me and still be able to use it? I didn't want to pack it in the original box because it takes up too much space and would be unwieldy when I tried getting into and out of all those hotels, but I had to have my iMac so I could check my email.

Along came the GrabPac. The GrabPac is a great little invention that I'm told started as a scribble on a paper napkin, but you wouldn't know it by reading their well designed and high quality instruction manual. This little pack is made exclusively for the iMac, and is great for toting it and some peripherals around.

Uses    It's made of high quality nylon/polyester blend and comes in three colors to suit your needs: Original Bondi, Stealth Black, and Aluminum Gray. There are two pockets on the side of the GrabPac that will hold mice, power cords, and external drives such as the Zip and the Imation SuperDisk. The GrabPac will hold up to most every situation, such as keeping the snow off of it or a slight drizzle from damaging the internals. The front flap holds the keyboard while protecting the monitor screen during transit.

GrabPac advocates college students or professionals using the GrabPac to keep the iMac safe during transit from home to school or between trade shows. We recommend it for anyone who's likely to take their iMac with them anytime. It's practical, affordable, and a real time saver. tr
